I'm expanding my practice to New York in March 2025.

I currently provide teletherapy for adults in Texas, specializing in trauma-informed care and neuroscience-based recovery. My approach is direct and compassionate, focused on providing support that actually fits your specific experiences and goals.

How I Work With You

Helping you find your footing and build lasting resilience.

Therapy is more than just talking; it is about creating a space where you feel safe enough to truly look at what is going on. My style is conversational and intuitive. I believe that when you feel accepted and secure, your natural ability to heal starts to take over.

Methods That Work

I use science-backed tools like EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing to get to the heart of what is causing your distress. We are not just putting a bandage on your symptoms. We are working to help your brain and body find a better balance so you can feel more like yourself again.

Who I Help

I specialize in working with survivors of complex trauma, including those moving on from religious abuse or controlling environments. I also support high achievers, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone breaking long-standing family cycles. If you are ready to move past old patterns that no longer serve you, we will work well together.
Connecting Mind and Body

Connecting Mind and Body

A Whole-Person Approach

Using a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective and trauma-informed yoga, I help you reconnect with your body’s own wisdom. We focus on how you feel and how your body functions rather than worrying about weight or size. The goal is to help you feel physically restored and mentally present.

A Foundation of Safety and Expertise

I am dedicated to your dignity, your recovery, and your overall well-being.

A
t Embodied Psychotherapy, PLLC, I don't see healing as fixing something that is broken. Instead, it is about helping you reclaim your inherent worth and your voice. I truly believe that safety and compassion are the most important tools for real change. By combining my clinical training with a deep respect for your unique story, I offer a space where you can explore the hard parts of your life without being judged. Whether you are dealing with the lasting effects of childhood neglect or the heavy weight of high-stakes pressure, we will work together to find your balance and get back to your true self.

Clinical Approaches That Work

Healing for both mind and body

My practice is grounded in psychodynamic and person-centered therapy. I use specialized methods like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (also known as parts work), and Somatic Experiencing. These tools help us address trauma where it actually lives, which is often in your nervous system rather than just your thoughts.

Real healing happens naturally when you feel safe, accepted, and understood.

Therapeutic Yoga

Finding balance through movement

I integrate specialized yoga techniques into therapy to help your brain and body work together again. Through these movements, we can sharpen your mental focus and calm your nervous system. This helps spread energy throughout your body and keeps your physical and emotional health in balance.

Your body knows how to heal when it is finally given the space to move without judgment.

Inclusive Care and Body Positivity

Respect for every size and identity

I follow a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach. This means I help you build a kinder relationship with food and movement that is not focused on weight. My practice is a welcoming place for cycle breakers, creative spirits, and anyone who has felt like they did not quite fit into traditional clinical environments.

You do not have to prove your worth to deserve a place in an inclusive community.

Standards and Values
I am a therapist who values social justice and clinical excellence, so I use the Power Threat Meaning Framework in my work. This means we do not just look at symptoms as problems with you as an individual. Instead, we look at how your environment and the power dynamics in your life have shaped your mental health. I am constantly working to unlearn old, restrictive ways of thinking so that my practice remains supportive and inclusive for every gender identity, sexuality, and neurodivergent mind.
