I provide specialized, trauma-informed care and clinical consultations for adults across Texas. All sessions are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, and I'm looking forward to opening my schedule to New York residents starting this spring.

Additional Support Outside Our Sessions

H
ealing happens best when you have a solid support network around you. While our work together is deep and intuitive, I know that navigating mental health often requires specific tools and community advocacy between our sessions. I have gathered these national resources to help you understand complex trauma, addiction, and safety, ensuring you have access to reliable guidance whenever you need it.

Trauma and PTSD Awareness

National Center for PTSD

I recommend this resource because it offers a clear, evidence-based look at how trauma affects the nervous system. It is an essential tool for survivors and their families to learn about the recovery process and stay informed on the latest trauma therapy research.

Healing from trauma involves reclaiming the safety and agency that were once taken away.

Crisis and Referral Services

SAMHSA National Helpline

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration provides a free, confidential service for anyone facing mental health challenges or substance use disorders. They are an excellent resource for finding local treatment facilities and support groups in your area.

No one should have to navigate the complexities of mental health and recovery alone.

Safety and Domestic Advocacy

National Domestic Violence Hotline

For anyone dealing with abusive dynamics or coercive control, this hotline provides 24/7 support. They can help you create a safety plan and find protection from harm in a safe, confidential environment.

Every person is entitled to a life defined by dignity, value, and physical safety.

Addiction Recovery Communities

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Peer-led groups like AA provide a structured environment to address addiction and compulsive behaviors. These communities focus on shared experiences and mutual support, which can be a powerful addition to our individual therapy work.

Connection and community are the most potent antidotes to the destructive cycles of addiction.

Crisis Support
Please remember that Embodied Psychotherapy, PLLC is not a crisis center and I cannot provide 24/7 emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or facing a life-threatening mental health crisis, please call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline or dial 911. You can also go to the nearest emergency room for an immediate evaluation and safety planning.

Mental Health Support and Advocacy Resources

Trusted organizations and tools to help you along the way.

I have put together these resources and advocacy links to give you more support and information outside of our therapy sessions. These organizations offer high-quality guidance on trauma, addiction recovery, and overall wellness. They are here to complement the work we do together and provide extra help whenever you need it.

Resources and Community Support

Supporting your journey toward healing, both in and out of the office

I
believe mental health support should be thorough, inclusive, and easy to find. Healing isn't something you have to do alone; it takes a strong network of community, the right tools, and knowing who to call in a crisis. I have selected these links to connect you with organizations that share my commitment to social justice and high-quality care. These resources are meant to supplement our work together and provide immediate help for those navigating trauma, addiction, or the weight of systemic challenges.

Crisis Support

Immediate Help

If you are in immediate distress, organizations like SAMHSA and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline offer confidential support 24/7. These services are essential when things feel overwhelming and you need professional help to stay safe and stable.

Safety and stability are the foundations of all therapeutic work.

Advocacy and Social Justice

Community Healing

The systems we live in have a real impact on our mental health. I have included resources for domestic violence prevention and social justice advocacy to support survivors of coercive control and high-demand environments. This is part of my commitment to unlearning oppressive patterns and building safer, more inclusive spaces.

We do not need to earn or demonstrate ‘worth’ or ‘value’ to be a part of an inclusive, safe community.

Recovery Tools

Peer and Expert Support

From Alcoholics Anonymous to the National Center for PTSD, these networks provide peer-led support and specialized education for addiction and trauma recovery. These resources offer a sense of belonging and shared experience that can be a powerful addition to our clinical work.

Healing occurs spontaneously through safety, acceptance, and compassion.

Hours and Emergencies
I see clients by appointment Monday through Saturday. Please keep in mind that while I provide deep clinical support, I do not offer 24/7 crisis intervention. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please use the national resources listed on this page or call 988 immediately for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
